Commissioned pieces have resulted from discussion with the client, reflecting their particular fields of interest, necessarily interpreted by the artist. Subject matter has varied from site to site from very immediately accessed woodland themes to striking images taken from the lives and experiences of the client.

Projects have covered a diverse range of subjects and techniques from mosaic, mask making, clay modelling, carving, banner making, environmental awareness, identity and development issues to collaboration in theatre projects.

Community projects have involved children, young adults, children and adults with learning difficulties and/or complex disabilities, mental health issues and behavioural problems over a wide cultural spectrum.

“ People have always been my most intense interest. The way they think, relate to each other, their lives and their place in the world, and through this how people since the beginning of time have understood and portrayed the “Self”. This is a fascination frequently explored through my work.”
